Navanto in Claude

Connect your own Claude to Navanto, so it can read and work on your projects with your access.

Last updated:

Navanto connects to Claude, Anthropic’s assistant, so you can ask Claude about your projects and have it do work in Navanto for you. It reads what is in Navanto now, the same as NavantoAI does, and it signs in as you, so it sees and changes only what your role allows.

Installing it

In Claude, find Navanto in the directory and install the Navanto plugin, which connects Claude to your Navanto account and also gives it these help pages, so it can answer questions about how Navanto works as well as about your projects. Navanto’s sign-in page opens, and once you sign in with your usual email and password Claude is connected. It is for your team, so a client login can’t connect.

Using it

Ask in plain words, the way you would ask a colleague who has Navanto open in front of them, and Claude reads your tasks, approvals, contract, timeline, site updates or anything else your role can see to answer. It can look at the photos on your site updates and open the files on your records as well.

Claude can also create, change, send and delete things in Navanto, with exactly the access your role gives you, and everything it changes shows in the activity feed under your name. Whether it checks with you before each change depends on how you have Claude set up, so look at Claude’s settings if you want to approve every change yourself.

Staying connected

Claude stays signed in for 90 days, after which it asks you to sign in to Navanto again. To disconnect, remove the Navanto plugin in Claude’s settings, and Claude loses access straight away.

What you ask Claude and what it reads from Navanto in that conversation is handled by Anthropic under the terms of your Claude account, the same as anything else you share with Claude.
