Contract
Stage payments, variations and selections in one contract
Stage payments, variations and selections all sit on the project next to the work, so you always know what your client owes and every decision they've made is on record when questions come up later.

- Payments that track themselves
- Each stage payment shows as due or overdue on its own, so the only thing anyone does is tick it when it's paid.
- Variations agreed in writing
- Your client approves each variation on their portal, so nothing gets built on the strength of a conversation on site.
- Every decision on record
- Each decision your client makes is kept with their name and the date, so there's no argument later about what was agreed.
Know what your client owes without a spreadsheet
On most jobs the contract is a spreadsheet, the variations are in an email thread and the payments are in someone’s head, so working out what a client owes means piecing all three together. In Navanto they all sit on the project together and each payment shows as due or overdue by itself, so you know who to chase without having to work it out.
Every payment feeds forecasting too, so you can see what’s coming in across all your jobs and not just this one.
No arguments at the final account
A variation agreed on site and never written down is where most arguments at the end of a job come from. You price it and send it to your client’s portal, they approve it there, and it joins the contract with their name and the date against it, so the final account matches what was actually agreed.
NavantoAI can price a variation with you against your product catalogue and the existing contract, which saves building the figure up by hand.
Selections without the email chain
Your client works through the fittings and finishes on their portal one category at a time and signs off with the total in front of them, rather than choosing taps from a dozen emailed links and getting a surprise at the end. The signed-off total goes straight onto the contract, and your client never sees your cost, your margin or your supplier.
Decisions made on the phone count too
When your client gives you an answer in a meeting or on the phone you can record it for them, marked as made on their behalf, so a decision is on record however it was made. Your client sees the same contract on their portal, so you’re both looking at the same figures when the next payment comes round.
