Orders raised from scratch, and NavantoAI on orders
- Raise an order that didn’t come from a selection. New order under Procurement › Orders asks for a project and a supplier and lands you on an empty draft, numbered like any other, with Add line opening that supplier’s products. Any line can now be removed, including the last one, and an order needs at least one line before it can be sent. See Orders.
- Link an order to a selection after the fact. Link to a selection on the order page offers the signed-off selections on that order’s project, and can be changed or removed on any order that hasn’t been cancelled — sent ones included, since the link is your own bookkeeping and never appears on the PO. Each change is recorded in the order’s log.
- See a selection’s margin after orders. Once an order is linked, the selection’s summary rail, its card and the project’s Selections list show the margin you’re actually making next to the one it was signed off at — what you’ve ordered at the order’s cost, plus the snapshot cost of whatever is still to order, with any line that isn’t one of the selection’s items counting as extra spend. Clients never see it.
- Fill in delivery, site contact and buyer without typing them. The draft order header is now three sections — Delivery, Site contact and Buyer — each with a Fill from menu offering what your organisation already has: the project or company address and addresses used on recent orders, and people from the project team, the wider team or contacts named on recent orders. Everyone can now hold a mobile number on their account, which travels with them into the pickers.
- Ask NavantoAI about your orders. The assistant can now read orders — what’s landing on site this week, what needs chasing — log a call, email or note against one, and record that a supplier has confirmed an order or that it’s been delivered. Raising, editing, sending and cancelling stay on the order page. See NavantoAI.
