Bespoke products, decisions on behalf, and user docs

  • Bespoke products priced per selection. A product made to measure — a rear door for a bespoke opening, a fitted wardrobe — can now be marked as bespoke instead of carrying a catalogue price, and its price is entered on the selection it appears in. Totals, VAT and the client portal all work as normal, and a selection can’t be sent to the client while a bespoke option is still unpriced.
  • Record a client’s decision on their behalf. When a client approves a variation or signs off a selection outside Navanto — verbally, by email, or before they were ever invited to the portal — an admin can now record that decision in the app so the work reaches the Approved contracts tab. The record shows it was approved on the client’s behalf and by whom, org-side and in the portal.
  • User documentation, and NavantoAI now answers from it. Twelve guides covering getting started, projects, approvals, drawings, site updates, suppliers, contracts and payments, variations, selections, the client portal and NavantoAI are published at navanto.co.uk/docs, including a guide written for clients using the portal. NavantoAI draws on the same documentation, so asking it how to do something in the app gets an answer suited to your role with a link to the relevant page.
